Local History Highlights

The library collects and maintains local history material relating to cities, counties, family history and genealogy, individuals, and historical organizations. The material is in a variety of formats including books, maps, photographs, pamphlets, microfilm, loose-leaf files, and realia. A popular source of information for the city of Garrett is The Garrett Clipper, a local newspaper that includes obituaries that may be located by date. Donations of local history materials are welcomed and accepted. Please contact the library for a copy of the Library's gift policy.
